Building awareness of our thoughts and feelings is key in order to change them in a way that helps us feel happy and centered. Journaling is a great way to gain awareness of our thoughts and who we want to become.<\/p><p><strong>What if you could feel amazing everyday?<\/strong><\/p><p>You can help shift how you feel with the <strong>following introspective questions<\/strong> to ask yourself. Read more to find out how.<\/p><p><strong>Think of your ideal life and ideal self so you can <em>be intentional<\/em> with how you spend time, how you you think and react.<\/strong><\/p><p>Grab a pen and paper and jot down your answers to these journal prompt questions.<\/p><p>How would you act, dress, and respond to others and to life as the ideal version of you?<\/p><p>What kind of thoughts would your ideal self have?<\/p><p>What would your ideal self say to do about your current situation?<\/p><p><strong>Talk to yourself using how your ideal self would speak to you and have a voice of a kind friend, not one of judgement.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>What would you tell your best friend or Mom to?<\/strong><\/p><p>Who do you want to be?<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">You get to choose how you show up in life.<\/span><\/p><p>You get to choose who you will be and<strong> if you do not like something, you can change it.<\/strong><\/p><p>You get to create a life you love.<\/p><p><strong>Journaling and gratitude have been proven in studies to reduce depression and anxiety<\/strong>.<\/p><p><em>Even if you are not depressed or anxious, briefly writing down what you are grateful for (3-5 things) can improve your mood over time.<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Emotional Processing Journal prompts:<\/strong><\/p><p>&#8220;What am I feeling right now and why?&#8221; and<\/p><p>&#8220;What feeling goes with the thoughts I had earlier.&#8221;<\/p><p>Ask yourself, &#8220;Why do I think or feel this way?&#8221;<\/p><p>&#8220;Is this a new experience or does it keep showing up?&#8221;<\/p><p>&#8220;What will I do about these feelings so they can be changed\/transmuted?&#8221;<\/p><p><strong>Reduce anxiety with these tips and journal prompts:<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Try to find the cause and try to find a slightly better thought you can have that temporarily replaces thr anxious\/worrying thought<\/strong>.
